Procedures
For this section I focused on procedures that would be particularly important to reinforce with younger grades to fit with my 1st grade classroom scenario for the portfolio.

cubbues1.) Quietly put away what you are working on and walk to line.
2.) Standing in line we are showing we are ready for the hall, eyes are forward, voices are off, hands are at out hips. 3.) Walking down the hall we keep out voices off and be sure to keep up with our neighbor. 4.) When we get to the library we wait for the librarian to say hello and let us in. 5.) When we get to library we walk right to the carpet and sit down quiet and ready to start. Checking in After a Missing a Day1.) The first day you are back from being gone, give the teacher your folder, with anything you have worked on, during morning seat work.
2.) Before going to first recess check with the teacher incase they have anything to show you before the rest of the day. 3.) Show mom or dad the work your teacher sent home, and always ask questions if you need too! |
1.) After you finish your homework make sure to put it in the "back to school" side of the folder.
2.) Every morning bring your homework folder back to school. 3.) When you get to school put your homework folder back in your cubby and find your seat. Getting Ready for Recess1.) Quietly put away what you are working on and walk to cubbies.
2.) Collect and put on anything you need for recess, especially if it is cold outside. 3.) Remember to leave toys or things that could break inside your cubby. 4.)
